What is Disney J1 Australia & New Zealand Cultural Exchange Program ?
Disney International Program is a 6 -12 months program where you get to work for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Orlando! in many different roles, you can take on include:

-QSFB
-FSFB
-Lifeguard
-Recreation
-Costuming
-Character Performer
-Character Attendant
-Custodial
-Front Desk
-Concierge
-Vacation Planner
This program is a paid experience, which means you will earn an hourly page from $7.95 $8.95 depending on your role. The work hours at Disney are about 40-45 hrs per week, you will be asked, to go overtime during busy periods. Anyone reading this is probably wondering why I want to leave everything behind and relocate to Florida for a year for a little wage. There are advantages to being a Disney cast member you get discounts, you get unlimited access to all the parks for free anytime you want and all the other awesome stuff. I also want to be able to share the magic with other people to be part of the magic that is Disney and to be in the happiest place on earth. For me, this program isn't about the money its about the experience to learn, to meet new people, and to discover myself and grow as a person, no matter what the wage and the work hours, at the end of the day I can proudly say I have worked for one of the world's best company.
If you are looking to enhance your CV, meet new people, travel and experience a different culture then this is the program for you. Doing this Program is a big step as it involves moving away from your family and living on the other side of the world on your own for 6 months or a year. So if anyone is thinking about doing the program before you apply think about it, do a lot of research. To participate in this program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand
- Be a current student at an accredited post-secondary university or at a tertiary-level accredited educational (TAFE) / Polytechnic institution and have completed the first full year of study prior to application.
- Please note you may not defer the semester prior to your arrival
- Recent graduates of a university or TAFE / Polytechnic may also apply but must start work at Walt Disney World® Resort within 12 months of their graduation date.
- Per Visa regulations, you may not study via correspondence full-time.
